Mission and History

We strive to passionately LOVE God and our neighbors, LIVE in the abundance of life found in Jesus Christ and GROW in our knowledge as we become His disciples.

City Church of Charleston began as a new church plant in 2009.

With nine people as our core group, we began services in a school auditorium on Wappoo Road.  

After several years we moved into a storefront space and continued to expand and grow.

Through many miraculous events we were able to purchase and renovate an existing church campus in 2019.  We're back on Wappoo Road, just a few blocks from our original home.

We now have room to grow as more ministries and people call City Church their home!
